..Well, if you think it might be blocked because of lots of town driving then you do have an option of taking the car in to a garage which can perform a forced regeneration. This can supply a "stay of execution" and free up some space for a while.
If you think you might be suffering from a high ash count then basically your options are removal or replacement, this unit has reached the end of its serviceable life.
Will my car pass an MOT without a DPF?
Yes! There is no legal requirement to have a DPF fitted , so is not required to pass a test. It does NOT affect the emissions, not that there is currently an emissions test on a Diesel in the UK anyway...

Location Details
We are based in a small Oxfordshire village about 4 miles from Banbury. We are situated between the river on one side and the canal on the other.
If the weather is nice its a lovely village to walk around (dating back to the early 1600's) with a number of old pubs that serve good food all day. Its a quiet place until the annual music festival when you can expect 20,000+ people invading the area...dont worry we wont book you in at that time!
DPF removal cannot be performed as a mobile service and the workshops only open Mon-Fri
